Rucira & Co, the island’s rising creative agency founded in 2020, took center stage at IPB International Bali’s Hospitality Management Division, sharing the secrets of digital marketing and contactless technology for the modern restaurant scene. The workshop, titled “Digital Marketing & Contactless Technology: Redefining Restaurant Experience in Ubud,” was all about one thing: helping students future-proof their careers in a world that is moving faster than ever.

The session was part of a special pre-departure program for students heading to the United States for their professional internships at world-class hotels. Designed to bridge creativity and technology, the workshop explored how today’s hospitality industry thrives on digital presence and seamless guest experiences.

Leading the session, Shanty C. Wijaya, Founder of Rucira & Co, shared her insights on how digital marketing strategies can elevate restaurants and hotels—from social media storytelling and visual branding to building authentic personal brands that truly connect.

“The hospitality world is shifting fast toward contactless, digital-first experiences,” said Shanty C. Wijaya during her presentation. “From online reservations to immersive visual content, technology isn’t just a tool—it’s how we build trust and connection with today’s travelers.”

Through this workshop, Rucira & Co aims to prepare IPB International students to confidently step into the global hospitality scene—armed with creativity, innovation, and that unmistakable Bali-born spirit of excellence.
