The workshop, titled “Digital Marketing & Contactless Technology: Redefining Restaurant Experience in Ubud,” was all about one thing: helping students future-proof their careers in a world that is moving faster than ever. The session was part of a special pre-departure program for students heading to the United States for their professional internships at world-class hotels. Designed to bridge creativity and technology, the workshop explored how today’s hospitality industry thrives on digital presence and seamless guest experiences. Leading the session, Shanty C. Wijaya, Founder of Rucira & Co, shared her insights on how digital marketing strategies can elevate restaurants and hotels—from social media storytelling and visual branding to building authentic personal brands that truly connect. “The hospitality world is shifting fast toward contactless, digital-first experiences,” said Shanty C.
